The Creation: Detail, Eve, St. John the Evangelist, the Crucifixion

The circle on the left represents the sixth day of creation, the land animals and Man. However, the human on the left appears to be Eve, judging from the long hair and her gesture of modestly covering her breasts.

The scene on the right is of course the Crucifixion, with Mary on the left and St. John on the right. In the center, John is on Patmos receiving the inspiration for the Book of Revelation. In both portraits St. John has rosy cheeks and a pink halo.
